The article provides a brief justification of the relevance of teaching business communication in a virtual environment within the framework of the course "Ethics of business communication". The training of students in this course involves a deep understanding of moral and ethical norms and the ability to apply them in practice. In the context of modern business communications and the transformation of forms of business communication, the transition to a virtual space, ethical standards are changing, as well as the requirements for business communications themselves. University students, future young professionals, need to be able to conduct business correspondence in accordance with ethical norms and principles, as this is what affects business reputation and image.
