Relevance of the problem of formation of special professional competences among beauty salon personnel

The article actualises the problem of forming special professional competences in the personnel of beauty salon. It is pointed out that the studied sphere almost always interacts through communication between people, belongs to the professions of «human-to-human» type, so it is extremely important in this sphere to ensure high qualification of employees who directly provide services. It seems that in this area only employees with special professional competences formed directly at the workplace and in the conditions of in-house training can increase customer satisfaction. The content of the concepts «competence», «competence»,«special professional competence», «in-house training», as well as the list of the main special professional competences in the context of the main positions of a beauty salon are considered.
