Current factors influencing the growth of crime latency in Russia

This article examines the problem of crime latency, which is relevant for modern Russia. It can be argued that the growth of hidden crime is directly related to the criminalization of various areas of public life. The relevance of the topic under consideration is as follows: unfortunately, the number of unregistered crimes does not decrease from year to year, which suggests that latency is a real threat to ensuring law and order in our state. The purpose of the work is to identify and analyze the factors influencing such a problem as the increase in crime latency at the present time. The article also suggests possible directions of prevention to reduce it.
