The article discusses the current problems of legal regulation and law enforcement in the field of bankruptcy of individuals. Special attention is paid to the peculiarities of the legal regulation of bankruptcy of individuals in comparison with the general bankruptcy procedures. In the process of research and identification of the main methods of acquiring property rights, theoretical and empirical methods of analysis were used.
