The article gives a brief overview of the experience in combating domestic crime, as well as the state of regulatory legal regulation of the activities of prosecution and internal affairs bodies in this area. The author’s thought about the dubious social value of Bill No. 1183390-6 “On the Prevention of Domestic Violence in the Russian Federation”, which is currently under consideration by the State Duma of the Russian Federation, is held in red line.
