Actual problems of public administration ensuring national security

Ensuring national security is a fundamental function of the government of any country. This article is devoted to the consideration of approaches and problems in this area. The experience of protecting national security in foreign countries is studied, including comparing Eastern and Western approaches to understanding state security. The domestic concepts of ensuring the protection of the country are considered, in particular, the current "National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation" and the expenditure items of the state budget for this area are investigated. In addition, problematic aspects of state policy to ensure national security at the present stage are identified and ways to solve them are proposed.
