The purpose of the work is to study the possibilities and problems of storing grain in anaerobic conditions in non-stationary type installations (silobegs) by creating tightness in a container according to the scientific principles of Nikitinsky storage. In various climatic conditions of Russia on the territory of the Central and Siberian Federal Districts, problems have been identified when storing grain in non–stationary installations, reducing its quality is a violation of the integrity of the ethylene structure by rodents and birds, causing further access of oxygen and water to the intergranular space, which contributes to an increase in quantitative and qualitative losses. Deratization measures carried out in conditions of open storage of silos have low efficiency in winter. It should be noted that currently there is no unified quality control system for grain stored in silos. Conclusions are drawn and suggestions are made to optimize grain storage in non-stationary installations.
