The article deals with the problems of teaching a foreign language to non-linguistic bachelor degree students, graduate and post-graduate students. The given issue is analyzed on the basis of priority research fields "Biotechnology" and "Heat Power Engineering" at Ogarev Mordovia State University. The authors present the conception of Content and Language Integrated Learning in the context of the presented problem field. The paper considers the prospects of this concept application in the sphere of higher education.
