Actual problems of examination of legislation on torture

The article deals with the problematic issues of qualification of acts under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - Torture. At the same time, the conceptual apparatus and the content side of the corpus delicti, provided for by Art. 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The analysis of this criminal act was carried out in the context of historical, comparative legal and medical aspects. The conclusions and recommendations made by the authors of the article are based on extensive statistical material from judicial and investigative practice, as well as materials from periodicals.
