Actual problems of forensic examination of petroleum products and fuels and lubricants

The article analyzes current problems in the forensic examination of petroleum products and fuels and lubricants. The relevance of the study is due to the high level of accidents within the Russian Federation, as well as the imperfection of some methods of forensic examinations in this section, which will be discussed in the study itself. Research methodology-analysis of scientific literature on a given problem, as well as practical domestic experience. As a result of this study, the key problems of forensic examination in relation to petroleum products are identified and ways to solve them are proposed.
