Actual problems of the inheritance contract in Russian law

The provisions of the legislation on the inheritance contract appeared in Russia on June 1, 2019. One of the main goals of this novel was to expand the possibilities of the testator in expressing testamentary dispositions by introducing rules on the inheritance contract into the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. Considering that the regulatory framework of the inheritance agreement is still in the process of formation, and law enforcement practice is still not well established, a large number of its aspects are the subject of discussion in the scientific literature. This article is devoted to the study of problematic issues of legal regulation of inheritance law.
