The main problems of professional training of future directors of theatrical performances

It is noted that the student personality at a higher school of culture and arts develops via acquisition of theoretical bases of theatrical performance direction that combine the works of researchers in the area and practical experiences of direction masters. Formal presentation of “craft”, contradictions between high theoretical and low practical (technological and functional) levels of teachers’ professional competence, focus of the higher schools of culture and arts on the niche training of specialists in a particular area of social, cultural, artistic and performance activities, neglect of social and economic changes in the country in the educational process are mentioned as problems in training future directors of theatrical performances. It is concluded that the above problems can be solved by introducing an innovative training model that integrates both traditional and innovative technologies
