The article is devoted to the analysis of the pedagogical aspects of the philosophical doctrine of man and his role in the world around him in the context of existential understanding by the French publicist and philosopher J.-P. Sartre. Focusing on the humanistic principles of the activity component of a person's personality, the author draws attention to the importance of integrating such existentials as responsibility, self-design, conscientiousness, humanism, freedom and a number of others into the pedagogical process with students in educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
