The article examines current trends in the development of Chinese language teaching methodologies, focusing on the integration of linguistic country studies, cultural linguistics, and linguistic cultural studies that originated in Russia. Special attention is given to discussions about the application of foreign methods for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The author highlights the recognition in China of the contributions of Russian scholars such as E.M. Vereshchagin and V.G. Kostomarov, as well as the significant influence of Russian academic schools on the development of Chinese cultural linguistics. The article emphasizes the importance of scientific dialogue between Russia and China for the development of intercultural communication and the improvement of educational programs.
