Current issues of appointment and production of forensic examinations in criminal cases

The article is devoted to the problems related to the optimization of the appointment and production of forensic examinations. The authors analyze scientific approaches to solving problems of legal regulation and the validity of the practice of appointing forensic examinations. Some recommendations for improving law enforcement practices aimed at reducing the number of expert decisions are given.
