This article examines the effect of the pitch of vertical load-bearing structures on the thickness of the floors and their reinforcement. In the conducted studies, three variants of monolithic ceilings with a thickness of 160 mm, 180 mm and 200 mm were considered. At the same time, the steps of vertical structures varied: 3.2 m, 5.2 m, 6.65 m, and various layout schemes were considered, such as: square, rectangular of different types, angular. In the article, the optimal steps of vertical structures were selected and the rational thickness of the floor slab was found, taking into account the economic benefits.
