Church of Aleksandr Nevskii in the village of Staraia Maina (the series “Flooded churches on the left bank of the Volga in Ulyanovsk)

The article considers the history of creation, functioning and destruction of Church of Aleksandr Nevskii in the village of Staraia Maina. Nowadays the church is under the waters of the Kuibyshev reservoir. The archival documents and the architectural descriptions of the church have been introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.
