An algorithm for assessing the rational use of agricultural land

The article, taking into account the forecast data on changes in the area of agricultural land, examines the problems that hinder the innovative optimization of the potential of agriculture in Russia. In order to identify economic entities that use their lands rationally and irrationally and to subsequently develop measures aimed at the rational use of agricultural lands, the authors propose an algorithm for assessing the rational use of such lands in the QGIS geoinformation system. The developed algorithm was successfully tested in the Novgorod Region.
