Allusion as an object of translation in audiovisual translation

This article raises the issue of the transmission of allusions in audiovisual translation. Special attention is paid to the main features of the transmission of allusions in translation. The specifics of the translation of stylistic peculiarities in audiovisual translation are indicated. Based on the analysis of the original (German-language) and translated (Russian-language) versions of the documentary "Russland von oben" \ "Russia from Above", the translation methods of allusions in audiovisual translation were determined.
