Outpatient compulsory observation and treatment of persons who have committed socially dangerous actions, at the Irkutsk psychoneurological dispensary

Objective: to study sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of persons who have committed socially dangerous acts (SDAs) and have been under outpatient compulsory observation and therapy at the Irkutsk Regional Psychoneurological Dispensary. Material and Methods: 101 patients with mental disorders (94 men and 7 women) were analyzed who have previously committed SDAs and have been under outpatient compulsory observation and therapy from 2 months to 14 years by a psychiatrist of the room of outpatient psychoneurological treatment of the Irkutsk Psychoneurological Dispensary. Results: Sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of persons who have committed socially dangerous acts and have been under outpatient compulsory observation and treatment at the Irkutsk Regional Psychoneurological Dispensary were studied. The received data testify to the need for further improvement of the work on the prevention of socially dangerous acts of persons suffering from mental disorders involving psychologists, psychotherapists, and social workers.
