Analytical substantiation of the integration of the new ROCONPASS vessel concept into the sphere of sea ferry services of the Russian Federation

This article analyzes the current state of ferry transportation in marine basins based on a comparison of the operational characteristics of existing fleet types, examines the existing lines on which ferry-type vessels transporting cars and trains between Russian and foreign ports are engaged. Based on the conducted research, the main parameters of a new type of ferry vessel with additional ports for loading and unloading wheeled vehicles have been developed.
