Analysis of the activities of the Federal Customs Service in the field of currency control for 2020-2022

Currency regulation and currency control are designed to implement measures to stabilize the foreign exchange market of the Russian Federation, support the stability of the national currency and ensure a unified policy. The article examines the mechanism of currency control by the customs authorities of the Russian Federation. Special attention is paid to customs inspections in accordance with the provisions of the administrative regulations of the Federal Customs Service of Russia on the implementation of state control of currency transactions related to the movement of goods across the customs border of the EAEU. Currency offenses were analyzed, the number of initiated administrative and criminal cases was revealed. The problems of currency control, which is carried out by the Federal Customs Service, are identified.
