Analysis of existing practices in strategizing regional development: Chinese experience

The article presents an analysis of the Chinese experience in strategizing regional development. The authors provide an overview of initiatives of the Central Government of the PRC used to stimulate regional development. The authors analyze pre- and post-reform periods of developing regional growth strategies. Based on the analysis, the authors discuss vectors of strategizing regional development in China.
