An analysis of the factors influencing formation of national and cultural personal identity as seen by pedagogic community in late 19th — early 20th cc

The questions of national-cultural personal identity have always been topical for Russian society. The problem «West — East» was considered by Russian thinkers as the factor of national self-determination and formation of a person’s national-cultural identity. The problem is analyzed from the standpoint of unity of understanding of Russian culture during all its history along with the cultural-philosophical forecast, within the framework of which it is possible to observe a complex multifaceted process of formation of national-cultural personal identity in the process of development of education and self-actualization.
