The analysis of oil crops production, depending on the market trends in terms of correlation of balance between raw materials and processing capacities of fat-and-oil complex was conducted. There was determined the direct influence of positive pricing environment on the expansion of crop acreages in the country in general, as well as in the context of federal districts. At the same time, the negative component of the ongoing changes is the excessive load of crop rotations with sunflower that amid the fertilizers’ absence leads to soil depletion, accumulation of diseases and pests, and as a result to reduced productivity. In 2013, soybean crops were 1463.7 thousand hectares, which is practically the record figure of 2012, rapeseed crops were 1351.9 thousand hectares, or, in other words, plus 138.8 thousand hectares to the level of the previous year. Oil flax acreages decreased by 133.5 thousand hectares, largely due to the corresponding level of demand of the previous year within the export-import operations.
