Analysis of hotel services in airport hotels in the Siberian Federal District

This paper examines the specifics of providing hotel services at airports in the Siberian Federal District (SFD) and analyzes the demand for these services among tourists in the region. This topic is driven by the growth of passenger traffic through SFD airports and the increasing number of transit passengers, necessitating the development of temporary accommodation infrastructure, driven by a 4.6 % year-overyear increase in the number of accommodations in the region. Key aspects of airport hotel operations are analyzed, including their role in ensuring passenger comfort while waiting for flights and opportunities for rest and recuperation between flights. «Krasnoyarsk Airport Hotel» and «Vozdnaya Gavan» lead the ranking in terms of room capacity. The article presents the results of a study of the current hotel market at SFD airports, focusing on the variety of services offered, the level of service, and the specifics of these hotels’ operations, which must account for the high dynamics of customer flows and 24 -hour airport operations. A comparative analysis of various hotels located near airports is also provided to identify the most successful strategies for attracting customers. The demand for hotel services at Siberian Federal District airports was studied, depending on a variety of factors, including flight frequency, convenient transportation links, and transfer duration. Based on the data obtained, conclusions were drawn regarding the development prospects for this market segment. Recommendations were proposed for improving service quality and developing new areas of airport hotel operations, including the implementation of modern management technologies and options for enhancing the competitiveness of hotels in this service industry.
