Analysis of urban planning conflicts on the territory of Petrovsky island in St. Petersburg

This article is devoted to the analysis of urban planning conflicts of Petrovsky Island and adjacent territories in the city of St. Petersburg. The historically developed characteristic features of the urban planning structure of Petrovsky Island are revealed. The urban planning problems of the territory are determined, and the relevance of this study is revealed. The current town-planning situation is analyzed, schemes illustrating the town-planning conflicts of the territory are formed. The main conflict areas associated with the emergence of new residential development on the island are highlighted.
