Powders from red and black currant pomace were selected as components of the developed biologically active food supplement for the correction of excess body weight. The aim of the study was to analyze the granulometric composition of powders from red and black currant pomace to establish the optimal grinding size of the dietary supplement components and the ratio of particle fractions of different sizes. The granulometric composition of the powders was analyzed using the sieve method in accordance with the requirements of OFS.1.1.0015.15 "Sieve Analysis". It was found that when developing a biologically active food supplement for the correction of excess body weight, it is advisable to pre-sift the crushed powders from red and black currant pomace through a sieve with a mesh size of 800 μm to remove the large fraction. This will allow obtaining powders with a smaller particle size, which suggests their better absorption and a higher rate of release of biologically active substances when consumed as part of a dietary supplement.
