Analysis and prospects of the regional policy for the development of small and medium entrepreneurship in the Sverdlovsk region

The article analyzes the state and prospects of the regional policy of small and medium-sized businesses in the Sverdlovsk region. The main indicators of the regional policy of small and medium-sized businesses in the region are analyzed: the number of subjects, the turnover of SMEs per year, the indicator of the number of employees at enterprises. The factors that have the strongest impact on the economic condition of SMEs in the Sverdlovsk region are identified, including tax innovations, lack of effective demand, insufficient high cost of qualified personnel, constant inspections of Supervisory and law enforcement agencies, and inefficiency of state support measures for business. The main directions of financial support to small and medium-sized businesses in the region are defined. The author suggests measures aimed at improving the efficiency of economic development of SMEs in the Sverdlovsk region.
