The paper presents the results of the examination of psychological and psycho-functional status of 263 physically and mentally healthy military students aged 18-19. By means of correlation analysis and sigma deviation, the researchers identify the experimental validity (equivalent to reliability) of extroversion and neuroticism of the Personal Traits and Interests Questionnaire with the same properties of temperament obtained in other paired tests (standard questionnaire by Eysenck and factor F2 of the 16PF Questionnaire by R. Cattell) at 0.1 % significance level. The study establishes the correlation between three indicators of extraversion and indicators of dominance, carelessness, courage, conformism, aggression, the “owl” type of daily rhythm, mental plasticity, cyclothymia and the correlation of neuroticism only with adverse mental states. H. Eysenck’s interpretation of the combination of both temperament properties according to the criteria of high/low “psi-abilities” (24.7 % and 2.3 % of the sample respectively) compared with the Intuition Questionnaire, the factor “C”- the strength of “Ego” of the 16PF Questionnaire and the successful training was confirmed only by the sigma deviation method. This requires further research in terms of discovering the paired psi-ability tests and observing the measurement repeatability principle on different samples.
