Analysis of the use of grammatical transformations in audiovisual translation

This article is devoted to the study of grammatical transformations in audiovisual translation. The concept of translation transformations, the concept of grammatical transformations, classifications and types of transformations are considered. Based on the analysis of the original (German-language) and translated (Russian-language) versions of the documentary "Russland von oben" \ "Russia from Above", the reasons for the use of grammatical transformations by the interpreter and the main types of transformations used in audiovisual translation were determined.
