Analysis of the effectiveness of the regional system of mentoring young professionals in the field of state youth policy (based on the results of a sociological survey in Stavropol territory)

Finding solutions to the problem of increasing the effectiveness of the existing mentoring system in municipal administrations and subordinate centers involved in the implementation of state youth policy has become the basis for developing ways to assess the level of the mentoring system for young professionals. A survey was conducted in 2020 in 35 cities, municipalities and urban districts in Stavropol Territory, where administrations have committees or departments for youth affairs and subordinate municipal youth projects centers and personal development centers, as well as in the Youth Projects Center of Stavropol Territory. The analysis of the effectiveness of the implementation of mentoring programs in various organizations of Stavropol Territory made it possible to identify several problems arising in this case, a list of typical and widespread negative phenomena (mistakes, erroneous actions) and ways to overcome them. Based on the findings of the study, a mechanism for the implementation of a mentoring system, as a form of work with young professionals starting their careers in the state youth policy system in Stavropol Territory organizations, has been proposed. The social and economic consequences of the implementation of a mentoring system and the main directions of organizing work with young professionals to improve its effectiveness are shown.
