In normal cell, apoptosis and proliferation are strictly controlled by intra- and extracell mechanisms. These signals interfere with cell pathways through cell receptors, estrogen, progesterone, C-erbB 2 receptors in the case of breast cancer. Based on our investigation we showed that expression of apoptotic and proliferative genes is different in breast cancer depending on status of hormone receptors. Besides correlation analysis shows different role of cell receptors in proliferation control in normal breast and cancer tissue.
