Analysis of the cultural connotative "eagle" in Russian and Chinese

Due to the differences in development history, geographical environment, living customs and psychological state of different nationalities, different nationalities have different understanding of the same objective thing. From the point of view of the cultural concomitant meaning of words, this paper discusses the Russian and Chinese idioms containing "eagle" (the idioms here refer to the fixed phrases formed by long-term use and tempering in the language, derived from myths and fables, historical stories, poetic sentences and oral sayings. Through comparison, this paper finds its similarities and differences, and analyzes the characteristics of national history, national way of thinking, national customs and way of life reflected by the word "eagle" in Russian and Chinese, so as to understand the different national characteristics and cultures of Russia and Chinese.
