One of the national objectives of the country and its regions is to enhance the standard of living for the population. A thorough evaluation of the population's quality of life plays a vital role in making effective management decisions to achieve this objective. It is crucial to highlight the importance of studying this issue at the regional level. The study on methodological aspects of assessing the quality of life in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District has enabled us to identify the strengths and weaknesses of various approaches. The key finding of this study is the comparison of ranking results among the regions using the Spearman's rank correlation coefficient, which yields a value of 0.65. Notably, significant disparities in rankings are observed among regions that experience notable fluctuations in specific integral indicators.
