Analysis of the world design experience in the framework of the project of a residential complex on the embankment of Petrovsky ostrov St. Petersburg

As part of the project of a residential complex on the embankment of Petrovsky Island, urban planning and landscape-spatial characteristics of the design site were identified. Based on them, the criteria for choosing prototypes of residential complexes are determined. A study of unique realized residential complexes on the embankments from the world design experience was carried out. The town-planning and architectural-planning solutions of the considered objects are studied. The architectural and town-planning principles of designing high-class residential complexes near the water are determined.
