Analysis of world experience in designing residential complexes on the site of former industrial territories as a project on Petrovsky island St. Petersburg

Within the framework of the project on Petrovsky Island in St. Petersburg, the characteristic features and potential of the considered design area were determined. Based on the analysis of the site, the criteria for selecting prototypes of the residential complex were determined. A study was made of successfully implemented projects of residential complexes from the world design experience that meet the identified criteria. The town-planning and architectural-planning solutions of the considered objects are studied. The results of the study were applied in the development of a project for a residential complex on Petrovsky Island.
