Бесплатный доступ

F. Dostoevsky is the creator of the polyphonic novel and a new genre in general. M. Bakhtin, describing the artistic features of Dostoevsky's novel, believes that "Crime and Punishment" is a typical polyphonic novel in Dostoevsky's work. The purpose of this work is to analyze the polyphonic features of the novel in three aspects: dialogue, synchronicity and incompleteness, based on Bakhtin's theory of polyphony. In our opinion, the combination of theory and analysis of the polyphonic novel will help the reader to better understand the polyphonic structure of the novel "Crime and Punishment".
