The SSR-analysis of chloroplast DNA of RF-lines of the cultivated sunflower and wild forms of of H.petiolaris was done. The results of the study indicate an extremely low level of chloroplast genome polymorphism of cultivated sunflower. 4 haplotypes were identified by the means of analysis of polymorphism of chloroplast DNA microsatellite loci of H. petiolaris.
