The development of interethnic tolerance

The development of interethnic tolerance, the upbringing of a respectful attitude towards the representatives of other ethnic groups and nationalities, their culture, customs and traditions is an actual problem of modern society, the solution of which largely determines the nature of intercultural communication. The article analyzes the problems of the development of inter-ethnic tolerance of the student audience from the point of view of identifying the main prospects for media education in the context of reforming modern education. Using the experience of Russian media education for the development of inter-ethnic tolerance among students can help the young generation to develop an independent, conscious attitude ofrespect, trust and a peace-loving attitude towards other peoples based on constructive dialogue positions, non-violent interaction and intercultural exchange possibilities.
