Analysis of HEI career guidance based on the structural-logical model

Successful vocational guidance ensures that the HEI receives well-trained applicants who are motivated to study and work their chosen field of study. This facilitates the learning process and gives reason to expect a minimum dropout rate for enrolled students. For applicants themselves, the right choice of primary tertiary education also saves time in their education and enables them to succeed in their career more quickly. Career guidance work requires revision and optimization, in accordance with the changes taking place in society, educational system and technologies. The article analyses the HEI's vocational guidance work on the basis of a structural-logical model. Methodological recommendations were made for enrolling applicants for training. Integration of traditional and new forms of career guidance activities is suggested, e.g. greater use of information technology resources.
