Analysis of the small and medium-sized enterprise sector in Zabaikalsky krai

The article analyzes the dynamics of key indicators of the small and medium-sized enterprise sector in Zabaikalsky Krai. We have established tendencies of redistribution of shares towards an increase in the number of self-employed in the overall structure of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The article presents a retrospective analysis and comparison of the indicators of Zabaikalsky Krai and other regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. We have structured the composition of subjects and areas of support for the small and medium-sized enterprise sector using the example of Zabaikalsky Krai, analyzed the correlation between the stable annual growth in the number of SMEs and the implementation of national projects in the territory, as well as achievability of the economic, social and innovative functions of entrepreneurship in the region. The study also considers the trends in contribution of the SME sector to GRP in the territory of all regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. We have presented the reasons for the dynamics in the number of SMEs and described the key participants in supporting the sector.
