Analysis of socio-economic development of Vologda region

The paperexamines the problems of socio-economic development of the Vologda region, based on statistical data, an assessment of the contribution of manufacturing industries to the regional economy is made. It is concluded that the economy of the Vologda Oblast is characterized by an inertial scenario of development, which is caused, on the one hand, by a lack of investment, and, on the other, by the low efficiency of using the available volumes of financial resources.
