Analysis of the means of the accidental and deliberate phonetic play (a case study of an English mini-text)

The paper deals with the lexical units of the English language which phonetic forms are similar to each other to a different degree. They produce the effect of accidental or deliberate phonetic play in the minimal context and represent the means of performing the ludic language function on the phonetic level. The paper analyses possible ways of creating and deciphering the ludic sense when these lexical units interact in the ludic mini-text.
