Introduction. A great attention was paid to the urological diseases epidemiology in the USSR and then in the Russian Federation at the FSBINMRRC of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, led by RAMS Academician, Professor N.A. Lopatkin. Currently, the Institute carries out a constant monitoring of urological morbidity during researches approved by the State Assignment. In recent years, the increase in the incidence of genitourinary system diseases in children in Russia has slightly stabilized. However, over the years the diseases become chronic and affect the quality of life, which affects the life of the country in general. This study was conducted for a detailed assessment of the urological morbidity prevalence in child population of the Russian Federation. Materials and methods. The Information on the main indicators of the uronephrological morbidity of the child population of Russia from 2000 to 2017 was collected and summarized according to еру official statistics of the Russian Ministry of Health, Federal State Statistic Service and the Federal Research Institute for Health Organization and Informatics of Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. One should note, that in the official statistical sources until 2004, the morbidity incidence was calculated for children 0-17years old. Since 2004, this incidence has been calculated for children 0-14 years old. Results. For the researched period of time (2009-2017) in Russia, the absolute morbidity increase reached 4726466 of all registered diseases in children (growth ratio -109%); the absolute increase in registered urogenital diseases was 79492 cases (growth ratio -106.4%). The number of registered urogenital diseases in children of the first year of life in 2016 amounted to 100.3 thousand cases, in 2005 it accounted 59.3 thousand cases. For the period of time from 2005 to 2016 the absolute increase in registered urogenital diseases was 41 thousand cases, the growth ratio was 169%, and the growth rate was 69%. For the period of time from 2010 to 2017 the diseases incidence decreased: for glomerular, tubulo-interstitial, other diseases of the kidney and ureter - by 25% (the growth ratio of this indicator was 74.9%); for renal failure - by 17% (growth ratio was 83%); for urolithiasis - by 4% (growth ratio was 96%); for other diseases of the urinary system - by 2.44% (growth ratio was 97.6%). The highest incidence of urogenital diseases in general in Russia in 2017 was recorded in the Saratov Region (9119.0), the lowest recorded - in the Republic of Adygea (1710.3), which is likely due to problems in urogenital diseases diagnosis. Conclusion. The official statistics analysis is an important tool not only for the incidence research, but also for assessing the effectiveness of measures to improve the system of children medical care. This is especially relevant in the situation of primary health care ongoing modernization.
