Diuretics are used in almost all branches of medicine as primary and concomitant treatment of diseases of various organs and systems. Modern diuretics, like most drugs, have a number of disadvantages and side effects. Currently, there are no scientific data on the effects of humic substances peloids on the excretory function of the kidneys. However, that does not exclude the possibility of their diuretic effect. In this regard, it is urgent to study the influence of metal derivatives of fulvic acids, produced from domestic natural resources, on the excretory function of the kidneys. The aim of the present study was to analyze the impact of magnesium, calcium and manganese fulvates on the excretory function of the kidneys. The study of diuretic and saluretic activity of metal derivatives of fulvic acids was carried out on albino rats. The tested drugs were administered subcutaneously in doses of 0.05, 0.1 and 1 mg/kg affected by the water test in the amount of 3% of body weight of the animal. The study revealed daily diuresis, natriuresis, caliures and creatininuresis. It was found that magnesium fulvate at a dose of 0.05 mg/kg leads to an increase in diuresis and creatininuresis, and at a dose of 0.1 mg/kg leads to increased diuresis and natriuresis. At the same time, manganese fulvate at a dose of 0.05 mg/kg contributes to isolated growth of diuresis, and at a dose of 0.1 mg/kg to a significant increase in diuresis and kaliuresis. The fulvate of calcium causes a decrease in all studied parameters of the excretory function of the kidneys.
