Internal educational migration in China

The author discusses the issues of the experience of studying educational migration in the world. In particular, the issues of the internal (interregional) educational migration in China are revealed. Referring to the analysis of international studies, the author identifies the common features of educational migration in the crosscountry context and the experience of its study. It was revealed that there is little statistical information on the causes of internal migration in different countries of the world, and education as a factor in internal migration is rarely singled out. Using the analysis of statistical information and secondary research, the author identifies the main factors of internal educational migration in China. It is noted that a promising direction for research is a comparative analysis of internal and international migration for education purposes. The study was carried out on the basis of the RANEPA state assignment research programme
