Analysis of borrowings and anglicisms adaptation in Russian-language IT terminology

Foreign-language terminology which is increasingly being introduced into Russian speech is an interesting linguistic phenomenon that plays an important role in the development of the modern Russian language. This article examines the main methods of forming Anglicisms, the reasons for the widespread use of Anglicisms in the IT sphere, the role of the English language in this area and the factors that contributed to its popularity. The relevance of the study is to consider possible risks and problems associated with the practice of actively borrowing Anglicisms into the Russian language, especially in the professional environment of communication of IT specialists and which are currently the subject of active discussions among philologists and political scientists.
