Analysis of foreign experience of the state-private partnership applying to regions of Russia

In the conditions of expanding the independence of the subjects of the state, the tasks of effective achievement of the development goals of the regions acquire special urgency. One of the most promising tools for implementing strategic projects of regional authorities is the mechanism of public-private partnership. In Russia, only some forms of partnership between the state and business in a limited list of sectors of the economy are found, whereas many types and methods of organizing such interaction are widely known abroad, not only in the economic sphere. The aim of the study is to summarize the foreign experience of public-private partnership and to find the directions of its application to the tasks of the development of Russian regions. As a result of the study, based on the study and synthesis of a vast array of materials on the practice of implementing public-private partnership projects in European countries, the most appropriate areas for attracting private and public partners to solve socially significant regional problems have been identified and justified.
