Keeping this in mind, this specific re-search was carried out in order to get a better understanding of the supply chain manage-ment system used by garment export facilities in the Tirupur area of Tamil Nadu.The study intends to know about the schemes available for garment export through Marine trade, fur-ther, the study also identifies the important elements of supply chain competitiveness in garment industry.
